June 2-4, 2023 ~ The Grays Harbor Festival of Colors was held in June on the beaches of Ocean Shores, WA (north of Damon Rd Beach Access Street). There were high flying kites of all sizes, characters (ie, Mickey & Minnie, Frogs, etc.), and colors. At night-time on Friday, there were light-up kites!
Saturday saw good kite flying weather with partly sunny skies and a breeze from the West. Lots of people parked on the beach, rode horses and enjoyed the kite displays. This is a a neat and fun event!
